The policies and standards that guide your experience.

Shipping & Delivery

At MAGDOR, we prepare and send your jewellery with care. This policy explains our shipping charges, preparation times and delivery arrangements.

Shipping within Canada

Shipping option Charge
Standard shipping — orders of CA$100 or more Complimentary
Standard shipping — orders below CA$100 CA$9.95
Express shipping — where available CA$19.95

The complimentary-shipping threshold is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts, before taxes and shipping.

Express shipping costs CA$19.95 in total; it is not added to the standard shipping charge. Applicable taxes and the total amount payable are displayed before you place your order.

Order preparation

Preparation time is the time needed to get your jewellery ready for dispatch.

Order type Preparation before dispatch
In-stock, ready-to-ship jewellery 2–3 business days
In-stock jewellery requiring engraving 5–10 business days
Made-to-order or custom jewellery 4–6 weeks
Backorder 2 weeks

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays observed in Québec. Timeframes stated in weeks mean calendar weeks.

Preparation times run from the date your order is placed, unless a different starting date is expressly agreed before purchase. The preparation timeframe applicable to your selected item and configuration is communicated before you order.

Delivery after dispatch

Carrier transit time is additional to preparation time.

Canadian shipping service Estimated transit after dispatch
Standard 3-9 business days
Express 1–3 business days, where available

Remote destinations may require longer transit. The destination-specific delivery estimate is provided before purchase.

Express shipping speeds up carrier transit. It does not shorten engraving, production or backorder preparation.

If you need your purchase for a particular date, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether that date can be accommodated.

Orders containing several items

If your items have different availability dates, we will explain the dispatch arrangements and applicable delivery timeframe before purchase. Any optional split shipment and additional shipping charge require your agreement.

Tracking and signature

Once your order is dispatched, we will email you a shipping confirmation with tracking information. Tracking updates may take time to appear.

A signature is required upon delivery. Please provide an address where someone can receive your parcel.

International shipping

The Canadian rates above apply only to deliveries within Canada.

Available international destinations, shipping services, charges and estimated delivery timeframes are provided before purchase. Availability may vary by destination and item.

International orders may be subject to import duties, local taxes or carrier clearance fees. Before purchase, we will indicate which charges are included, collected at checkout or payable separately. Where an amount cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain the nature of the possible charge.

If a carrier requests payment of a charge already collected at checkout, contact us for assistance.

Address corrections and order changes

Please check your delivery address carefully before submitting your order. Contact us promptly if you need to correct an address or request a change.

We will confirm whether the change is possible and disclose any additional cost before proceeding. Address changes may no longer be possible after dispatch. This does not affect your cancellation rights under applicable law.

Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel is delayed, missing, damaged or marked delivered but has not been received, contact us promptly. Where possible, retain damaged packaging and photographs to help us investigate.

We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue and fulfil our obligations under applicable law. A carrier investigation does not remove MAGDOR’s legal responsibilities.

If a delivery timeframe needs to change, we will contact you. Any revised delivery date will be agreed with you in writing, without limiting your statutory rights.

Cancellation and legal rights

This policy does not limit your legal warranties or mandatory rights concerning delivery, cancellation or refunds.

Where Québec law entitles you to cancel a distance contract, MAGDOR will refund all amounts you paid under that contract within 15 days of cancellation and cover reasonable return costs as required by law. Other mandatory protections may apply depending on your location.

Contact

For shipping questions or help with an order, email info@magdor.ca, including your order number where available.

Returns & Warranty

At MAGDOR, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This policy explains our voluntary return arrangements, manufacturing-defect warranty and your rights if something is wrong with your order.

Exchanges and store credit

Eligible standard, non-personalized jewellery may be returned for an exchange or store credit.

Please contact us at info@magdor.ca within 14 calendar days after delivery to request a return. Once authorized, please send your item within 7 calendar days after receiving our return instructions.

For change-of-mind returns, we offer exchanges or store credit rather than refunds to the original payment method. This does not affect refunds or other remedies required by law.

Return conditions

For a voluntary return, the item must:

  • Be unworn, undamaged and unaltered.
  • Include its original packaging, accompanying certificates and accessories, where supplied.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase or an order number.
  • Meet the eligibility conditions below.

Please contact us before sending your jewellery so we can provide the correct return address and instructions.

Items excluded from voluntary returns

The following are final sale for change-of-mind purposes:

  • Made-to-order and custom-designed jewellery.
  • Engraved or personalized jewellery, including pieces with initials or names.
  • Jewellery specially resized or modified at your request.
  • Special-order items clearly identified as final sale before purchase.
  • Gift cards, except where reimbursement is required by law.

A standard, unmodified ring is not excluded solely because it is a ring. An item is not excluded solely because it is on backorder.

These exclusions do not remove your rights concerning defects, incorrect items, goods that do not match their description or other remedies available under applicable law.

Return shipping and charges

For voluntary returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Please use a tracked service with suitable insurance for the value of the jewellery and retain your shipping receipt.

Original shipping charges are not credited for change-of-mind returns. We do not charge a restocking fee or deduct a shipping charge that was originally complimentary.

Any shipping charge for an exchange will be confirmed before you agree to it.

For defective, damaged or incorrect items, contact us first. MAGDOR will arrange and cover necessary return shipping for a covered claim or where required by law.

Exchanges and store-credit processing

After receiving your return, we will inspect it and confirm whether it meets the voluntary return conditions. We will process an approved exchange or issue store credit within 5 business days of receiving the item.

Store credit reflects the amount actually paid for the returned merchandise after discounts, including applicable taxes paid on that merchandise. It has no expiry date and may be used toward a future MAGDOR purchase.

Exchanges depend on availability. Any price difference will be confirmed before the exchange is completed; a remaining balance will be issued as store credit.

Store credit is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If your jewellery arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears defective, please contact info@magdor.ca promptly with your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs are helpful where available.

The 14-day voluntary return window, unworn-condition requirements and final-sale exclusions do not limit your legal rights concerning these issues.

One-year manufacturing-defect warranty

MAGDOR provides a one-year commercial warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects.

For a covered manufacturing defect, we will arrange repair or replacement at no charge. Any additional remedy required by applicable law, including a refund where applicable, remains available.

This commercial warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or damage caused by alterations or repairs performed by others. These exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

After the commercial warranty period, or for damage outside its coverage, we can assess your jewellery and provide a repair estimate. No paid repair will proceed without your approval.

This commercial warranty is additional to applicable legal warranties. Legal protection may continue beyond one year, including protection concerning reasonable durability.

Order cancellations and custom deposits

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel or change an order.

For standard items, we will accommodate cancellation before dispatch where possible. An accepted cancellation will be refunded to the original payment method.

Made-to-order, personalized and special-order purchases may have cancellation restrictions. Any conditions concerning production, completed work or deposits will be disclosed and agreed to before purchase. We will not treat a deposit as automatically forfeited where applicable law requires otherwise.

These arrangements do not restrict any statutory right to cancel.

Purchases before a promotion

We do not provide retrospective promotional price adjustments for purchases made before a promotion begins. This does not affect remedies for an incorrect charge or other rights provided by law.

Exchanges

We’re happy to offer exchanges on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Purchases are eligible for exchange rather than a refund.

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of magdor.ca and purchases made through our online store. MAGDOR is your seller. Shopify provides the platform supporting our store.

Please read these terms together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Warranty Policy and Privacy Policy.

Product-specific conditions communicated and agreed to before purchase also form part of your order. Mandatory consumer protections always apply. These terms do not exclude legal warranties, statutory cancellation rights or other rights that cannot legally be waived.

2. Using our website

You must have the legal capacity to make a purchase. If you create an account, provide accurate information, protect your login credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not use our website for fraud, unlawful activities, harassment, infringement of intellectual property, unauthorized access or interference with its security or operation.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the website. This does not remove our obligations concerning existing orders or your legal rights.

3. Products and personalization

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs and specifications. Screens may display colours differently, and photographs may be enlarged to show detail. These limitations do not excuse an item that fails to match its description or agreed specifications.

The product information and configuration presented when you order describe your purchase. Changes to listings apply to future purchases and do not automatically change an existing order.

For engraving, resizing or custom work, please review the text, size, materials and other specifications before confirming. We will disclose applicable preparation times and any special cancellation or return conditions before purchase. Changes after confirmation depend on the work already completed and must be agreed with you.

Personalization and final-sale conditions do not remove your rights concerning defects, incorrect items or non-conforming goods.

4. Prices, payment and order information

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless another currency is expressly displayed.

Before you place an order, we provide the applicable price, discounts, taxes, shipping charges and total payable. Any additional third-party charges that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance will be described before purchase.

You must have authorization to use the selected payment method. Payments are processed through the payment services available at checkout.

You will have an opportunity to review your order and correct errors before submitting it. We will provide an order confirmation setting out your purchase details.

If an availability, payment or listing issue affects your order, we will contact you and explain the available options. We will not substitute an item, impose an additional charge or change agreed specifications without your agreement. Where an order is cancelled, we will provide the refund required by the circumstances and applicable law.

Corrections to website errors do not override your rights concerning advertised prices or an existing purchase.

5. Preparation and delivery

Our Shipping Policy sets out the full delivery arrangements.

For deliveries within Canada:

Service Charge
Standard shipping on orders of CA$100 or more Complimentary
Standard shipping on orders below CA$100 CA$9.95
Express shipping, where available CA$19.95 total

The complimentary-shipping threshold is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts, before taxes and shipping.

Preparation before dispatch is normally:

  • In-stock, ready-to-ship jewellery: 2–3 business days.
  • In-stock jewellery requiring engraving: 5–10 business days.
  • Made-to-order or custom jewellery: 4–6 weeks.
  • Backorder items: 2 weeks.

Carrier transit is additional: normally 3–9 business days for standard delivery and 1–3 business days for express delivery, where available. Remote destinations may take longer.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays observed in Québec. Timeframes expressed in weeks mean calendar weeks. The timeframe applicable to your item and destination is communicated before purchase.

Express shipping accelerates transport; it does not shorten engraving, manufacturing or backorder preparation. A signature is required upon delivery.

We remain responsible for fulfilling our delivery obligations. Handing a parcel to a carrier does not, by itself, release MAGDOR from those obligations. Contact us promptly about a delayed, lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered parcel. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.

Any revised delivery date will be agreed with you in writing, without limiting your legal rights. International destinations, delivery charges, estimates and applicable import-charge arrangements are disclosed before purchase.

6. Cancellations and changes

Contact info@magdor.ca as soon as possible to request a cancellation or change.

For standard items, we will accommodate cancellation before dispatch where possible. An accepted cancellation will be refunded to the original payment method.

Made-to-order, personalized or special-order purchases may have restrictions. Conditions concerning production, completed work or deposits must be disclosed and agreed to before purchase. Deposits are not automatically forfeited where applicable law requires otherwise.

These arrangements do not limit statutory cancellation rights. For a valid cancellation under Québec’s distance-contract rules, we will refund all amounts paid within 15 days after cancellation and cover required return costs. Statutory return deadlines apply instead of our voluntary return deadlines.

7. Returns, exchanges and store credit

Eligible standard, non-personalized jewellery may be returned for an exchange or store credit under our Returns & Warranty Policy.

Request authorization within 14 calendar days after delivery, then dispatch the item within 7 calendar days after receiving our return instructions.

Voluntary returns must be unworn, undamaged and unaltered, with the original packaging, supplied certificates and accessories, and proof of purchase.

Made-to-order, custom, engraved, personalized or specially modified jewellery is excluded from change-of-mind returns. Special-order items clearly identified as final sale before purchase and gift cards are also excluded, except where the law requires otherwise. A standard, unmodified ring or an item on backorder is not excluded solely for that reason.

For voluntary returns, customers pay return shipping. Original shipping charges are not credited. We charge no restocking fee and do not deduct a shipping charge that was originally complimentary. Any exchange shipping charge requires your agreement.

Approved exchanges or store credit are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item. Store credit includes the applicable taxes paid on the returned merchandise, has no expiry date and is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

These conditions apply to change-of-mind returns. They do not limit remedies for defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods. Where a refund is required by law, store credit will not replace it.

8. Warranties and problems with an order

MAGDOR provides a one-year commercial warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects. Covered defects will be repaired or the item replaced without charge, without excluding any additional remedy required by law.

The commercial warranty excludes normal wear, accidental damage, misuse and damage caused by alterations or repairs performed by others, only to the extent permitted by law.

This warranty is additional to legal warranties, including applicable protections concerning fitness for normal use, reasonable durability and conformity with the description. Legal protection may continue beyond one year.

Contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears defective. MAGDOR will arrange and cover necessary return shipping for a covered claim or where required by law. No paid repair will proceed without your approval.

9. Promotions

Promotions apply according to the conditions disclosed for that promotion. We do not retrospectively apply promotional discounts to purchases made before a promotion begins.

This does not affect remedies for an incorrect charge, advertised-price obligations or other legal rights.

10. Website content and third-party services

MAGDOR’s website content, branding and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal shopping and information purposes. Other reproduction or commercial use requires authorization unless permitted by law.

Third-party links or optional services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Their inclusion does not remove MAGDOR’s responsibilities for the products and services it sells.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. Any restriction or interruption remains subject to our obligations concerning existing purchases and applicable law.

11. Reviews and submitted content

You retain ownership of reviews, photographs and other content you submit. By submitting content for publication, you permit MAGDOR to display and reproduce it for that purpose and to make reasonable formatting changes without changing its meaning.

You must have the rights necessary to submit the content. Do not submit unlawful material or another person’s personal information without authorization.

We may moderate spam, unlawful content and content unrelated to the relevant product or service. Nothing in these terms prevents you from expressing an honest opinion, making a complaint or exercising a legal right.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and how to contact our Privacy Officer.

Accepting these terms does not, by itself, provide consent to optional marketing or tracking. Applicable consent requirements and your privacy choices remain separate.

13. Responsibility and applicable law

MAGDOR remains responsible as required by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit liability where doing so is prohibited, and do not require you to waive mandatory consumer protections.

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you reside.

Disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing requires mandatory arbitration or prevents an eligible class action or access to a court available to you by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. Revised terms will show their effective date, and we will give additional notice where required.

An update does not retroactively change an existing order without your agreement or another lawful basis. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
